One of my favorite things about working at Borders was when I'd recommend a book to a customer, and they'd come back in a few weeks and tell me how much they enjoyed it. This happened on a semi-regular basis, and it never got old.

Me and my t00by novel have gotten ourselves a literary agent.

I'm relieved, ecstatic, and TERRIFIED.

For a variety of reasons I can't share the details yet, but I will do so as soon as I'm able. Let's just say that I could not have engineered a better situation for myself if I were omnipotent.

Whew. The adjuster left me a message informing me that he'd written the body shop a check, minus my deductible, and that my car would be fixed. Not totaled. Yay!
